Re: Pants
It seems incredibly unfair that to be taken seriously one must wear pants. Mark Twain once remarked, “clothes maketh the man, naked people have little or no influence on society”. I suppose he’s right - but how about shorts?
That’s right. Shorts.
Why is it that a man who shows up to a meeting in shorts will not be taken seriously? It all seems horribly unfair. Women can wear skirts but we cannot wear shorts!
So I have decided that someone needs to invent a set of shorts that, when worn, says “I am a man of note and influence, trifle with me at your preril”.
But do such shorts already exist, I hear you ask! Is the answer staring us in the face?
Yes!
The answer is simple. Walk shorts.
There I said it. Now it’s off to the op shop for some camel coloured hand me downs from a deceased estate before the rest of the world catches on and walk short prices sky rocket.
Tomorrow no one will be trifling with me.
